Hi myself and hubby are looking to buy a property in Camposol, can anyone help us understand which area not to buy, I understand some section A,B,C,D?? you have to be careful, we have also notice some houses for sale have been refurbished.

Hi,

like anywhere you need to be careful of small areas of concern but I would suggest that you come over for a short stay to get the vibe and also look around, all 4 sectors have their great bits and there are small areas in Upper C and D that have issues (subsidence and being built on a riverbed) I would suggest you visit the CRA (Composol Residents Association) page you will see some of the problem areas (there are plans to rectify some are already in hand)

speak to the locals they are a great bunch, where you end up depends what you are looking for (D and C very quiet and peaceful,B closest to main amenities, A is potentially the best but you pay a price for that) I have a property on D and love it, we are away from the river bed and the solitude is divine

please do not take notice of the non locals that forever want to demean Camposol it is a great place with great people

I would agree with Lee.

It all depends on what you want and also how active you are or want to be.

D is a fair way from commercial area, can be walked or cycled.

One thing to be aware of is that Camposol has a problem with squatters.

Camposol has no more of a problem with squatters than any other area of Spain.

Agree with most comments. We have had a holiday home for 7 years now on D and love it. It is very quiet even though most neighbours have dogs, but the quiet is exactly what we wanted

I would argue that whichever sector you are on a car is required because to visit beaches or local towns or scenery it is a requirement so that basically means that living on D allows you to get to the commercial centre on B on a regular basis in about 6 to 8 minutes

We bought on Camposol a year ago everyone is so helpful we have no issue with living here but you will need a car there are dogs barking but not all day as some people say good area's as well as bad same as everywhere come visit and have a look around speak to people who live here then make up your mind
