Hi I read somewhere on here to look out for holiday homes if you are going to be living on camposol full time. I'm just wondering how you differentiate between full time and holuday homes.  I know if shutters are all down it's probably a holiday home but are there any other signs? I cant remember the reason for this suggestion can anyone enlighten me.  Thanks

I might guess the reason for the heads up on a holiday homes is that if you are living next door to one it might get a little noisy, people on holiday might have parties, noisy kids etc, the comings n goings etc - just a thought

As with all houses purchases you must use an abogado. There were/ are a few problems relating to touristicos. Mainly that they were built for holiday let's and as such the regional Gov  could expect their rental charge. Even if it is only you living in it. Check with the Camposol residents association. They will know what is happening. Also essential to check for all paperwork and embargoes. Most touristicos are terraced, and do not have much outside space, as a little guide, but the CRA will know which houses are touristico, and also where we are with negotiations to possibly sort this out with the council.
