Hi
425 euros that's with the tax included! I would add that the survey was far better than what we get here in the UK.. much more extensive.. he checked everything from tiles, plumbing, air con, rads, pool pump, underbuild etc.. plus photographs any problem areas.
Thanks Nessy for that info.
No problem.. pm me if ever you need his details.
The survey won’t stop your houe being knocked down should the Spanish government decide to one day Enforce the ILLEGAL builds law....:::

Be very careful. I notice the usual advocates playing it down. You must know, there are many abandoned properties, used as squats. I filmed this for YouTube and published it on the camposol FB group, naturally, the protectors didn't like it. The defenders (the people who deep down regret or cant leave the British favela, tend to try and pull you in).
It's a South End on in a Favela in the middle of the desert with only English language and offerings. Road falling away, pavements disconnecting from buildings and houses falling down. All courtesy of Massa builsing in a Rambla without waiting for settlement. They don't often explain that though or divert you to the many available YouTube segments on it. Really wanna go?
I would not purchase a property on this part of sector c.
Parts of upper C are fine we had our property surveyed, plus we had discussions with a reputable builder to establish if the property and the plot were okay.
No habitation certificate but I doubt very much if the government are planning to bulldoze all the homes without them so ignore the negative comments around this.
We have also lived on D sector again our property and plot were fine in every way but unfortunately our friends down the road had subsidence and Masa offered them another Villa.
Take your time to look around before you commit to anything and if in doubt ask on the forum again
Hello Golly. We live on Retama Calle. We walk pass these villas almost everyday with our dog. Those villas were solidly built and they show no sign of cracks after being left abandoned for a few years. These abandoned villas (most of which have recently been SOLD) are in Sector C10. There are many sub-sectors on C. Pls ensure you have the correct sector number. There is a bit of road settlement as you move up to the middle part of Retama from the bottom end. It seems like the road was built on 2 parts and that the outer section has some sign of slight settlement. Get a survey done as said by many others. As we recall that the bottom part of Retama (near the bins) has no problem with the road !!!!
You hear some negative comments and stories about Camposol and so did we when we bought last year. I would say just ignore them and most of these people do not even live here or have not visited the area. Again, it is freedom of speech and you just need to do your homework. Many regions in Murcia have a degree of soil settlement as the nature of the soil. Inform your lawyer about your concernand ask for a survey. We love living on Retama and the best decision ever made. If you have any Qs, email us and we can try to give you a straight forward answer based on our experience last year. Good luck and Camposol is an amazing place and the surrounding towns are so nearby...........
BTW, we have got ALL the deeds and legal docuements including our (Licencia de Primera Ocupacion), issued and stamped by the Town Hall of Mazarron, from our solicitor !
Hi Gollyg me and my partner Sue just returned from our dream trip to also find a home in Camposol we looked at some beautiful villas on C and D but we just didn’t feel comfortable with the lack of lighting in the streets we did a drive through at night omg black isn’t dark enough , also drove around the damaged roads and villas to be honest I can’t see it getting any worse but is off putting such a shame some lovely homes opposite some major damaged ones . We also sat in the eating area where Mercers the estate agents are and wasn’t really impressed with the condition of the cafes/restaurants etc , the DIY store is all cheap goods , we came away very disheartened although Spain is beautiful, we did meet some lovely residents of Camposol and wish you all the best just check and double check everything plus surveys always . I personally was hoping to find work out there as a Carpenter but again we found nothing positive that would be worth the risk So still looking regards Rob and Sue
The certificate you must have is the FIN DE OBRA (Finish of Works) for that particular house. These certificates can be obtained as long as the property has been standing for ten years, subject to a satisfactory survey. If It hasn't got one, don't buy it . The certificate of habitation should be issued on completion of each sector, by the council so that water, sewage and power connections can be made. However the council did not and apparently never will issue such certificates, which affects house values. A bargain if you are buying, not so clever if you are selling.
