Sorry but there are so many variables and unknowns here that you might just as well have asked how long is a piece of string!

Have you been to have a look at properties on Camposol as you did not say...if not you really should it sounds like you could do with a break ...one thing I will say is at your age of 60 your chances of getting a job a zero ...so if you are thinking about moving over you will need private health insurance this is expensive ...you will also need a private income of around £1,200 per month coming in just to get by...this will cover you general running costs and your food ...this amount does not include rent...it really is not that cheap to live in Spain as you think so if you do take the plunge rent first for a few months and you can make your own mind up .. without a doubt you will need some sort of transportation...

I dig you Frequent flyer. Just like me, straight to the point and no messing about.

The issue here is that everyone or most people want to live in Camposol because it's an urbanisation to be. It's very attractive to the Expats (some have already regard us as immigrants..on This platform). But without a thorough research and be diligent about it, I reckon it's just a waste of time. Not fact finding, but dreaming of what might be owning or living in Spain.

The reality is that at 60, there is no chance of getting a good paying job in Camposol. Everyone should be aware of that. Camposol is for the retirees where old people come to rest our aching bones and joints. Meet new friends, enjoy the sunshine, and relax at your own pace.

Yes, Camposol is neither for the poor nor for the rich, but ONE MUST have enough FUNDS to live in Camposol.

Hi, to answer two specific points you raised,  properties do not have a damp proof course. Solarium roofs have a damp proof course underneath the tiles and is certainly something you should pay attention too if considering purchasing here as most of the properties are now comming to an age where this may be a problem if grouting has not been maintained allowing water to get underneath which will eventually lead to leaks.Hope things work out for you .cheers
