Hi, sorry can't help with your request but just wanted to give you something to think about. If you are intending to replicate doors in UK and take back to Spain consider whether you are now going to be charged Iva and import duties since Jan 1st there is no loading up a car with your belongings and drive through borders without customs declarations. Even residents of Spain only have a certain window of time to move belongings from obtaining residency to be exempt of customs charges. Just a thought! Non residents stand no chance of avoidance.

Regards

Pleased you are doing it that way, didn't want you stung for charges you didn't know about. Good luck, we,re staying non residents after 20yrs of owning, don't like the new requirements and still have UK home of 40yrs to sell.

Unless your kitchen is bespoke made (unlikely),  it's the same standard unit sizes as everywhere else - just need to find out how wide (300mm, 400mm, 500mm or 600mm)  the units are as the height is a standard 720mm. This is apply for full height units as well. So the door overall size is 3mm smaller in width and 5mm shorter in height generally. Integrated oven cupboard is 600mm same as full size dishwasher- maybe you can judge the rest of your units sizes by that? Just a hint. Still weird you want to bring it from UK probably exposing yourselves to additional taxes while bringing it through the customs while there's a plenty to chose from in Spain but maybe it's something special about that, what I know..

By bringing the doors of whatever measurements they are from the UK you are leaving yourself open to lots of problems.

What happens if you have miss measured one door ??

Or if one get damaged during your removal ??

A lot less problems to buy the doors in Spain.

They do sell them.

😁😁

The question was if some fellow Camposolian could measure the units in Neptune villa as presumably they all the same? Not being the one I suggested if measurements could be taken from the plans or even pictures as units are the standard everywhere.

But I agree with you, Roland, it's too easy to overlook or miss the crucial item like some corner joining piece, pelmet or get dimensions wrong without the proper survey.

Still if not Brexit my personal preference would be to bring the stuff from UK for quality reasons as I was successfully  been doing before.

Ray, have you thought of just getting your unit doors hand painted to change the colour scheme ? -  Cheaper than replacing the doors entirely. I had my Fortuna painted by A1 Decorating just before Christmas. Cost €450 , very nice job, and he put on new door handles which I supplied myself.
