Hi all

Firstly anyone reading this post, i hope your all safe & well. And we can all enjoy sunny camposol again as soon as possible.

we have a property on D and would like to know if anyone has had their roof top solarium refurbished, tiled & the cost to hire someone to do it.

Also has anyone had a gas bottle fed boiler put in, for hot water. the cost for this also please. We need both doing, so an expensive year coming up unfortunately.  our property is a Rebecca style.

All help would be appreciated. thanks & stay safe.

Ian

Contact Camposol Heating & Maintenance for heating - they are good and reasonable.

Not sure about the solarium.

We have a Classico, roof with new membrane and tiles was €2400, hot water gas boiler outside was €360. We used a local chap called Maradona very good work, and has transformed the villa, the damp from the roof used to make it feel even colder in the winter.

Hi we used John and Michael from thats handy for our roof and Dan Bexon installed a new boiler, flue as well as refurbished our bathroom. All legal and insured and we are very happy with the work they done. We had anti slip tiles on roof and the horrid metal stairs removed on our Rebecca on D.

Make sure you ask any builder to see their paperwork before employing them for any works as there are many cowboys there that will rip you off, not finish the job or will finish with a very poor standard.

Covid is spreading rapidly here with more and more cases in the area. Stay safe.

The boiler replacement was about 350 but it will depend on what model and of course the size of the boiler.

We had solarium, stairs, back and front roof terrace done so I dont have the break down to hand im afraid. Cost would reflect what tiles you choose so what someone paid maybe not what you are quoted.

Many people here use and recommend those I have mentioned.

Dans number is 652 580 053

If you Google That's handy you will find the website for John where you can request a quote

You are welcome. I have read that Spain won't allow tourists in until 70% here have been vaccinated. Dont know if it is true or not. At this rate tourist won't be able to come until the end of the year at earliest.
