Hi all.My husband and I are moving to Camposol to retire at the end of this year if covid allows us from Ireland.Can anybody tell us please when we receive our S1 cards what is the most you pay for your prescriptions as we have medical cards here that entitle us to pay only 15 euro each per month for us both.Thank you in advance.

We are on the Spanish health system under the S1 route and pay 10% of the cost of our prescriptions. This means we pay about €2 per month, whereas these would cost £50 on prescription in the UK. Not everyone pays the same %. Sorry, I don’t know the criteria.

S1 isnt a card its just a pre completed form to register for healthcare as part of the residencia process ...when you have registered with a health centre and have your medical card (Tarjeta Salud in Murcia) you pay 10% of prescription costs with a cap of 10€ per month...each.
