The figure I quoted clearly state's approximately €8,000 ...to find out the exact numbers... you will need to look on the application forms...good luck.

Hi

We are also going for residence, and have today taken out our private medical insurance which you need to apply.

We had heard several amounts that you have to show evidence of, as income required, the last one was a combined income of Euros 18,000 which proof would be required of, but others say different.

Padron, not more than 3 months old, and NIE required.

However, any thing could alter day to day as Brexit nears, and Spain alters the goal posts, as other EU countries will no doubt do.

We are now going to get a bit of legal advice, and find out the truth, as it may not be worth doing, but looking at other alternatives, such as coming back and forward to UK, within time limits.

In addition Spanish driving licences come into play, get one of these, and you have to give up your British licences.

I can only say what I have heard, without legal advice, it is only what others are saying which is causing worry, and uncertainty, even to the point of some Brits I was speaking to today, who have decided enough is enough, and are selling up to go home, and just buy a holiday home visiting for months at a time.
