No idea it depends on your personal circumstances

It reads as though you are here permanently? Therefore you will need "Residency". One of the main tenets of residency is full health insurance.

Until Brexit (could be as soon as 31st October!!) you could get NHS funding through "S1" because your husband is over 65.

As Roland has written, we have no idea what is going to happen next. The safest route is to take out full medical insurance here in Spain.

The authorities will only accept a policy with no excesses (copagos). It is likely to cost you about €300+ per month to cover both of you.

If the Brexit deadline extends it will be a good idea to apply to the DWP in the UK for an S1 form.

Get all the details on the Customer Advice Bureau Spain website. There is a great deal of useful info on it.

If your husband is a UK state pensioner he should contact DWP for the S1 form which entitles him to access the Spanish health system and you can piggyback on this too. You need this as proof of healthcare when you apply to sign on the list of foreigners (known as residencia) which you should do ASAP. Of course things may change depending on Brexit so dont delay!!

Doesn't matter if you are of UK pension age ..you have got to be a Resident before you can access the Spanish NHS system ...you will need a disposable income of around €16,000 per year for 2 people if you want to stay in Spain as you are a foreigner.. you will need a private health care policy in place until you are accepted as a resident... I really don't understand why people don't do the homework first before making the move.. Spain is nothing like the UK for benefits and so forth ...so be prepared to pay through the nose at every turn.

You will also need to have €16/17000 in the bank and a paper from the the bank to say you have that money in the bank, also 2/3 pictures hope this helps you oh also driving license will need to change over to Spanish.
