Looking for recommendations for private medical insurance for myself and wife for our residency visa.
I know Murcia like the top policy and like others no Excess.

We used Asssa policy for our residencia. As long as you tell them its for residencia with no co payments.

We (68&76) are with them since 2018 - now €370,00 per month/both

We are currently with ASSSA but Salus are offering a good deal with no co-payments.

We used Sanitas (part of the BUPA group) and paid approx. €1,200 pa for a couple - aged 48 & 50 with nil pre-existing conditions.
I've seen DKV recommended on this forum by others.
It's worth shopping around as we were quoted up to €6,000pa from other providers.

Hi, that seems dear, we pay E166 a month for both of us, ages 68 and 66 with ASSSA.
I assume you may have existing problems, thats why its so dear.
Seriously, if you are of pensionable age you should get your S1 (I think that is what it is called) from Works and Pensions and you should then get your medical card for Spain which is absolutely adequate - unless, of course, you want to shell loads of money for private medical care. Karen

We've just purchased insurance for our visa. Used salus. £1571 for two no pre existing.
