Healthcare can anyone
Can anyone recommend healthcare for people aged 57 who have taken early retirement from the UK and have relocated to Spain. Can you advise what cover is provided.

Apparently every resident of Spain is now intitled to free health care regardless of age..but you will need to take out a health care insurance before Spain will accept you as resident ...it can take anything up to one year to be accepted...you will get a private health plan for around 100 euros per person per month depending on ailments... when you become a resident you can cancel your private health policy and and have free Spanish NHS care regardless of age or income... good luck enjoy.

Per person per month.
It's going to cost you more than 100euros per month if you are hospitalised with something serious ,plus medication afterwards ,mount west

Thanks Ivor. I am aware of the costs. Was only pointing out that the original reply from FF did not state pp/pm. I see FF has now edited the response.
Cheers
