Hi

Can anyone recomend a private health care company that includes pre existing conditions.. that is suitable for our residency application...

We are age 58 and 59.

Also what level of prescription charges are we likely to face..

I have fibromyalgia and high bp. And receive repeat prescriptions for numerous items..

Many thanks

Kathryn

Try DKV, our agent is  Fabián 60755021, also on wasap. My husband and I age 67 had trouble finding due to our age. Our pre existing is high BP. You can ask about your condition. They have different policies with different rates. Now that I am thinking, I am not sure if Fabián speaks English but the company have  agents fluent in English. After many calls, DKV was the only affordable one. Tell him Micaela sent you. Blessings!

Best to google it rather than put your conditions on a public domain. There are loads of health schemes on the internet, but it does pay to shop around and always disclose everything! Nothing is cheap in this field though and it gets worse the older you get, unfortunately.

The best you can do is to get in contact with some insurance companies (there are many recommendations on this forum) in order to go through the health questionnaire process, this is the only way you can have their feedback about your preexisting conditions. Bare in mind that they will request your authorization in order to start the contract, so if you do not agree with the conditions proposed, you can always stop the process and ask them to eliminate your personal data (according to the Ley Orgánica 15/1999, de 13 de diciembre, de Protección de Datos de Carácter Personal)

Which companies I recommend? AXA and DKV. These are the only companies in Spain that guarantee LIFETIME cover for health insurance policies.

I'm happy to help if you need further advice as I'm an insurance agent with AXA. (See forum site)

I think the reason for forum is to make others experiences easier. I researched for a long time and got run around. Finally was let to Fabián, DKV Agent who took his time to clarify doubts to me. And Yes, he speaks English. And NO, it's not for anyone to release personal information to him ( I think we all know not to) It's to ask him questions if any. It worked for me this is why I am sharing to give back to the forum. Thank you.

Spanish NHS have a private scheme that charges about e56 a month.  Once you reach 65 and are resident it is free.
