Hello all, we are hoping to move to Campasol shortly, we are both retirees and both have SIP cards.
We were wondering if we will be able to use the private hospital when it is up and running or whether we will need extra health insurance to use it.
Sorry, we are not well-versed in private health care.
Any advice on this or insurance companies please let us know.

Hi the hospital has supposedly shut and it was private so you would have had to pay. My friend has private health care but she still had to pay for consultation and xray at 150e as their were no deals made with insurers.
Most people here are sent to hospitals in Cartegena which is about a 40 minute drive away.
Edit. We are with Asssa based near food co in mazarrón park Jane and Diane are very helpful. Jane goes to mg management on sector b on i believe Thursday. We can use the doctor on camposol who speaks excellent English and Rover clinic in mazarron town for blood tests etc. I normally get gp appointments quickly and no appointments needed for blood test just need to get there before 10am
