S1 Certificates

Hi all, we are in the process of going for our NLVISA. I am struggling to get my head around the Medical requirements. I have been told that S1 certificate is OK when applying at the Consulate. I have been in touch with Newcastle, the issuer of the Cert. They have said they do not send out confirmation of the cert. How do I convince the Consulate that we have Medical cover in order to get our Visas?
We cannot be the 1st to experience this. Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
