Yes there is a short stay car park. Just follow the signs.

At the barrier take a ticket before leaving the car park go to the payment machines scan the ticket, pay the fee then when you get to the exit barrier it reads your number plate & the barrier rises.

There are a few free drop off spaces in the front of the airport but these are usually all full.

You can just pull up in front of the airport in the pick up / drop off zone. Keep an eye on his flight time and aim to be there for 15mins after he lands and you can just pull in and pick him up. I've done that a few times now and always found somewhere to pull in. Its only a 5 min wait zone, but no ticket barriers, so you can go over the 5 mins and as long as you stay with your car you should be fine.
