A good start would be to send emails to the estate agents on Camposol.

Fly into Murcia International airport (aka Corvera) its only 30mins from Camposol.  Your can get free viewings with some of the estate agents but we preferred to come independently when we viewed over 10 years ago now.  It gives you the chance to look around at all of the properties for sale, regardless of agent and then you can book with them, Mercers are on Sector B, Luz del Sol - A.  Get the feel of the place, what are your priorities - shops etc or quiet magnificent views?  I would suggest you avoid some of the roads in middle C (just after the aerial hill on the left) Google is a wonderful tool, you can even get yourselves maps etc before you go.  Give yourself at least a week and if you can, stay on Camposol, again Google will tell you letting agents.

We bought a Fiesta style villa 10 years ago and I have been out 48 times in those years (I keep records - bit of an anorak like that lol) Love the place, so relaxing, peaceful, friendly atmosphere, loads to do, great restaurants and bars within the complex, (set within a golf course) excellent live entertainment (especially wonderful watching under the stars in the 'Camposol triangle' in the commercial centre during the summer months.  You will hear horror stories, everywhere has them but they are few and far between - we have never regretted a minute (apart from the problem we are having now with a builder but that's another story!)  ENJOY

Yes, Mercers is a local estate agent ands they arrange weekend viweings and can put you up in a local hotel (local as in the Port but they do collect you)

We saw something like 12 villas in 2 days and bought one on D

Murcia International (Corvera) is now the local airport but we have not used that ourselves as we are not due out again until May

Camposol is a big urbanisation but has a complete range of properties to suit all budgets. In some sectors (C and D) you will need a car to get to the amenities but the bonus is that these are very quiet during the day. Lots of things to do, plenty of amenities (you will bump into so many people who visit Camposol for the shopping as they do not have these where they live) and from whom we have met, a great bunch of friendly people. Mostly Brits looking to take it easy with many looking to retire and for a quitter pace of life plus of course the great weather

No catches...

Hi

I would use Luz Del Sol (English agents) on sector A

http://luzdelsol.net/

Avoid parts of D sector and parts of C sector

So clearly  the best idea would be to contact as many of the estate agents as possible and make your own mind up based on selection of properties available and the general service provided. That way you will feel most satisfied

As you have said you are undecided on Camposol, why not look further afield, Los Alcazares, San Javier, Aguilas or slightly in land Balsicas is just 10 minute drive to beeches of Mar Menor with great transport links.
