Thinking of buying in Camposol. What is the situation with getting insurance against the property damaging floods I have heard about?

We have just been down the route of trying to claim on our insurance for damage caused by the recent downpour in December. The assessor has told us that while they will pay for cosmetic damage inside i.e. Painting they will not pay for roof repairs to cure the leaking. He said that the roofs in Spain will sustain up to 40 litres per square metre, the latest rain was around 220l per sq metre. Therefore no claim accepted
