Advice on choosing Camposol

Well, please remember the UK is no longer in the EU. So, the ability to buy out here is severely limited. As Frequent flyer says, please read the answers to previous questions.  Camposol is quite lively in the summer months, but not too sure about teens though. The age group is much older here.

However, although not a retirement home Camposol is aimed more at the older person and by that I mean over 50s. Personally I do not think it is geared up for children at all but yours at that bit older that they should be able to adapt. There are many younger ex Pat's who appear to go to schools here as well if that is still a requirement

Brexit is something else we all have to come to terms with and the final picture and implications to Brits, especially those who are not permanent like myself, is still to be confirmed

That said, Camposol is a great place that I am sure you would like and enjoy

Your not limited to buying, any non eu can buy and have done for years. 

Camposol is best place for value.

Not much for youngsters but you would be driving as need car .so can travel about. 

As far as I am aware Brexit has no implications on buying or selling property

Main potential issue is the 90 day in 90 day out rule which severely restricts spending long consecutive periods of 180 days

Why does Brexit severely limit buying in Spain? To my knowledge it won't change much other than taxes.

Because we will no longer be in the EU  it means to live here permanently you will have to fulfill the requirements that the Spanish Gov require. When I got my residencia it was just after the vote. Murcia was being really strict. I had to prove I had €5k in the bank and an income of €2k per month as I am a pensioner. (According to a contributor here it is now 800 per month). You will of course have to add on health insurance.( which is going to be expensive)  Taxes etc. So yes  things have changed. A lot. Mainly in the fact that it is going to cost a lot more to move here. We no longer have free movement. If you are below retirement age, then how would you live? Jobs go to EU nationals. If you are coming here on holidays, then, I am not sure. But of course health insurance is going to be a requirement. No more ehic. Hospital treatment is good value, but still expensive. And this is before an agreement has been reached. If the UK is not reasonable, then things could get worse. We know that time out here is going to be limited , but that also has not been agreed. 90 days seems to be the number of days they are talking about. Read the Gov web sites.

No doubt that things have changed and will continue to change as Brexit negotiations continue or the UK leaves without a deal

I may be stupid but my feeling has always been that Spain relies so much on the income from UK tourists and those with homes that they would would not make it to onerous

If the urbanistations started to empty because of new regulations then the government would lose more money than it can afford to a seriously jepordise their economy

What you say is probably true, but until the negotiations are complete, no one will actually know. Your original statement was about house purchase and whether you're buying a holiday home or for living in full time, I can't see any change in the purchase procedure happening. I've bought a couple of houses in Spain and I don't remember being asked how I was going to use the property. As has been said many times, the Spanish won't want to impede the Brit money rolling in.

Private health will remain the same 1st year , but instead of convenio it will be private for other years   not much diff in price   . If underlying medical conditions then can be a problem
