Hello all,

Another dreamer trying to put some flesh on the bones of living a better quality life in Spain.

Going to spend time trawling over old posts before asking the same questions you are all sick of answering.

Hope everyone is well.

Cheers, Dave.

Welcome Dave. Don't be afraid to ask as there are some very helpful people on the forum. There are also some sarcastic which we tend to ignore 😁

😁 I've discovered the sarcasm and strong opinions on several threads lol.

Thanks for the welcome, it's early days for us yet, a few nice holidays around Murcia to come. Unless a green keeping job comes up somewhere then I will be there next week 😁.

1st question as you will be seeking employment, are you fluent in Spanish if so I think you will not find a problem with employment whilst we are still in the EU, but if your limited to green keeping even with fluent Spanish that might be a different kettle of fish, good luck.

Hi, not necessarily going to be working by the time we commit but if something came up work wise we could bring plans forward. My Spanish is tourists level plus at the moment, trying to improve but languages have never been easy for me to pick up. Thanks for your reply.

Well said, that’s why I gave up, but some people have also been very helpful in the past.

Hi, don't worry about asking questions that might've been asked before. Most on here are more than happy to help, but no one knows what will happen with brexit lol.

Many threads are similar but that is simply because we have all been inb the same boat at some stage or another

Camposol is a very friendly hospitable place but as it is full of English is not to everyone's taste, but then again neither is trying to integrate with the locals in one of their villages...!! you need to undersatand what it is that you really want and then investigate further and continue to akc questions

Many are concerned regarding Brexit but personally I do not expect to see much change as the Spanish not only like but also need the English here. You do not need a great deal of Spanish to get by, certainly not on Camposol itself but if you do intend to explore then of course it can only help
