Hello all, looking at the forum I am now scared to death!

I am looking for a cheap, under £45000, one or two bedroom house and Camposol looks ideal, I am coming to visit but the topic of deeds etc

seems very grey.

Whilst I am not spending a fortune I do not want to risk finding I own a house that doesn't actually belong to me.

I thought I would be safe with the terraced chalets as most are lived in.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Thank you!

You should be able to buy for £45,000...remember to add 10% on top of the price agreed ....you should also have a look on the golf resort's.

Be aware that resorts will have community charges, and they are unregulated so could be increased at the whim of the freeholder.

Use local agents such as Mercer's, Luz de sol.  Make sure you find your own solicitors as well.  Great place for holidays

I don't think you will find a cheap property on a golf resort. The community charge will be high too. Is there a community charge on camposol?

You can buy a flat ...on some of these inland golf resorts for as little as €35,000 all you have to do is look around...the community charges should be taken into consideration. On Camposol you don't have a community charge but you do pay council tax ...my 3 bedrooms/3 Bathrooms with swimming pool (detached villa )cost only €400 per year...I think this is why Camposol is so popular to buy on personally I don't think you will get a good 2 bed terrace villa for €45,000 the one's you see  cheap usually come with problems ...you should up your budget to around the €60,00 for a good one that is fully legal don't forget to add 10% on top for buying fee's since Massa the builder's have gone and the new airport opening only 30 minutes away... property on Camposol has been selling extremely well especially the larger  properties.. good luck.

I would not classify Camposol as a resort? Are there communal gardens, pools etc?

Camposol is a urbanisation approximately 10,000 people live permanent on Camposol...it does have very well kept community gardens / health center/ Doctors / Dentist/ Community centre /shopping precinct/pubs /club's/restaurants/5 star hotel/18 hole golf course and so on...the site  was designed for residential use and is 6x4 KLM in size...you do get holiday maker's that hire Villa's for a week or two during the summer months .
