Indeed.
Its not easy, but it is enjoyable.
Dont give up on it , much better to have some idea rather than any at all.

Hello Sue,
Nice to hear from you.
We are actually living in Campasol, Mazarrón.
We really like it here, as the community is extremely friendly and helpful.
There are also a fair few ex-pats so communication is easy.
We are learning some basic Spanish as we go along and we are enjoying exploring other areas to practice it :)
I wish you lots of luck and enjoyment with finding your new retirement home :)
Retiring and moving here is absolutely the best thing we ever did!
It is absolutely fabulous :)
Best wishes to you both :)

Hello Carole
Nice to hear you like where you are
We made a mistake after having and using a holiday home in Costa del sol looked at Granada and the good recommendations people gave and as we were delayed getting out for 3 years went for the NLV and thought there must be a place we can find but we really did not like the place so even the perfect place could not win us over plus we had cause to return and consider optionslSpain is a big area so time means we look at recommendations .
Basically good weather, reasonable prices for property and friendly community some English spoken
Any suggestions appreciated

Hello Sue,
We looked at a few areas before we came to Camposol.
As soon as we spent a few days here we knew straight away that it is where we wanted to retire to.
We also did quite a lot of research online and read lots of reviews and watched lots of videos.
We went to the top three places which looked like they would be suitable for us and we ended up deciding in Camposol hands-down.
And mostly for the things that you have described, good property prices, lots of English speaking, and a really great, friendly community. Usually lots of sunshine - although this year it has rained a lot so far.
Of course it’s not for everybody - so I would suggest a visit first and see how it feels to you :)

Thank you :)
Well i would say your not wrong at all.
But it means quite a few things.
Depends in what context you want to take it.
It can be translated to, don't mention it, but, i myself take as your welcome, as most do.
When learning, keep it simple.
