Good luck Mick and Cindy. We are in the process of buying on D. We loved it after our 1st visit and looking forward to going back next month and hopefully staying in our new home for the 1st time. The views over the golf club house are stunning.

Welcome

We are also on D but currently only as holiday owners until we actually retire but totally love the place. Plenty to do with dent amenities and D is so quiet it is lovely. Hope you enjoy and agree that the golf club has great views and does a blinding roast on Sunday

Hi Mick, welcome to Camposol. We have also just purchased a lovely villa on D29. Just got back to UK,from collecting our keys. We did not want to leave. It was the best decision ever. Can't wait to get back and buy a slice of Bakewell tart from Lizzie's cafe 🍰😎it's the best ever.

Well wish you all well, I've had a holiday home for ten years and enjoy Camposol and surrounding areas when I go there .Prices have gone up ,but still with the amount of supermarkets and shopping centres nearby, it's still quite reasonable .Keep your eye on your security( a bit of common sence needed )and you will be more than happy in Camposol ,especially with the wonderful climate the region has to offer.

My wife and I are just in the process of buying on sector b, we have family who live on sector d as well. It was love at first sight and we can’t wait to come back out in January hopefully as owners by then, and stop in our own villa for the first time.

There’s loads of places to visit and great bars and restaurants, all the people we’ve met are so friendly and helpful. We had the most amazing Sunday dinner at the black bull on commercial sector b. Great food and welcoming. Rudys is our place for drinks and cocktails, the mix meister at rudys makes the most amazing cocktails, and is friendly and fun.

You will have the most amazing time living on camposol and we can’t wait to join you.

Spain expensive ??? We came to Spain because we can't afford life in Belgium with our retirement money ! Every time we go to the supermarket we are amazed that the bill is so low :-)

Spain expensive???i will answer that ,the problem is the pound has devalued some 30% since I first came to Spain. If you are from Belgium sure it cheap in Spain there, you have a stable  Euro .By having a weak pound of course it's more expensive for us ,it goes to follow.good luck to all those countries that are benefitting from being In the Euro.To reinterate With the pound down and inflation it has become more expensive there for Brits .it's still good value, and competition between the local supermarkets ,still makes it affordable to live there.

On another point Camposol pays minimum Council tax. In the U.K. I pay 12 times  that ,what I pay in Spain. however and I'm not scaremongering ,but probably that will be the next area where your living expenses are going to be hammered.Happy days .
