A few people on this forum rent out...one in particular has a nice apartment that they rent out on Camposol...what you need to do is start your own post looking for rental and the date you want it from and so on good luck enjoy Camposol.

Hi, I am a 63 year old widower . I’ve been living on my own in Normandy, France for the past five years. I’m fed up with the British type weather and have decided to move to Spain. I like the price and styles of Campasol villas, so the big question is.....is there any reason why I wouldn’t ...

I look forward to your comments

Hi Alan,

I was thinking of buying in Campasol a few months back, I then did a Google Street walk around it and found that all it is lots of nice villas with pools, but very little else, stuck in the middle of no where! also there has been lots of issues with problems with villas built in Campasol due to it being built on what used to be an old river bed, when it rains there can be flooding, do a Google Youtube search for Campasol and you will see some of the stories from some of the residents that have had terrible problems with their villas.

I decided to purchase a new build villa in San Pedro Pinatar, through Europrestige, they do four day viewing trips for £99.00 this covers flights (both ways) hotel stay, breakfast, they pay for lunch as you will be with them during the day, and they will take you to see a variety of resales and new-build properties, all legal, it is amazing what you can get there, and right near the Mar Manor, just google New Builds San Pedro Pinatar, there is lots to do in the area, lovely beaches and marinas, lots of places to eat out, great shopping centers, Google Zenia Boulavard.

Good luck!

So what you are saying is that you have not been to Camposol yourself ...and you would rather take advice of Tony down the  pub and so fourth about Camposol....the majority of the new Build's you are referring to are built on failed so called golf resort's that turn into ghost town's in the winter....but what do I know my name is not Tony.

A Google street walk ?... nothing but villas and pools ? Oh dear you really haven't done your homework .  We have shops , bars , restaurants , beauty salons ,  banks , doctors , chemist , insurance agents , garage , golf course ....etc  etc...we are a 15 minute drive from the Mazarron beaches...we have regular bus services from sector A . The problems you refer to are confined to a very small area... Camposol is a huge place with a great community spirit that you wouldn't have seen on your Google street walk... maybe you should have visited in person .

Gem 100 how can you comment on a place that you know bugger all about ...Camposol is 6x4 KLM in size with 4,000 properties and 5,000 permanent residents and 80 different nationalities it has 2 shopping centres /18 hole golf course/5 star hotel/doctors/dentist/opticians/community centre/banks/bars/restaurants and if takes you fancy entertainment can be found every night...when I bought my 3 bed3 bathroom detached Villa with 9x4 pool ..I acutely got of my arse and went to Camposol to have a look for myself.... This is something that you did not do so what gives you the authority to give anyone advice on a place you have never been to ... keep your stupid uneducated comments to yourself ...and like many before you and that will come after you (enjoy your utopia)...and just in case you have not noticed this forum is for the people of Camposol so what I would suggests is that you look around for a forum about your utopia. Have a nice day anyway.

Good day Allan, I bought a 3 bed 2 bath villa on sector C6, I have a huge garden and a huge under build which could be converted into another flat, (I chose a games room for the family and grand kids) yes there are problems on some sectors, such as mine, where we are still trying to get the street lights working, also I was not informed by PAL solicitors that it was a private community, not that that would have made a difference anyway, but it would still have been nice to have been told. there are problems with subsidence on some villas, but they are up at sector D, the rest of the urbanization is fine, and as Frequent flyer wrote, there is plenty to do there. It took me 3 years of flying back and fourth to different areas such as Torrevieja, san pedro del pinitar (personally i thought it was a dump) pilar de la horredada, amongst many others, but as soon as I rented a villa in Camposol, I loved the place. as for Gem100 comments, do not let that put you off, maybe she was referring to Mazarron country club, as nice and pristine as it is, there is only a communal pool and a clubhouse there and nothing else, also check out www.bluemedinvest.com  they do viewing trips also, and have lots of bank repossessions at very low prices, that's who I bought through. anyway, best of luck, I hope you find the right place.
