I fully agree, rent first, explore Camposol, talk to the residents, see the great villas, and the ones which had problems.

We rented, about a month ago, looked at everything, including the country club residency, and just fell in love with Camposol, which made us come home sell our property, put a deposit on a Villa, and now just awaiting for all to go through, and we will move out for our retirement.

Its a big decision, but so is life, and it goes so quickly.

But you are seeing more extreme weather everywhere these days including the UK but you would still buy there wouldn't you...?

Do your due diligence but the bonus of Spain,  and Camposol  in particular, is the superior weather for the most part and the relaxed living style and environment

Plenty of bars and restaurants on the commercial centres plus the golf club as well

My experience is that are is required for almost anywhere in spain so you can travel and visit more places. If you buy on sector C and definitely on D then a car is required

There is a bus service to the port for the beach and Tortaba where there is a train station which opens up more options but in all honesty I think a car is quite important

Can you take taxi to bars restaurants

And to the station , as I have a dog it’s not possible for me to come out & rent short term so I’d be virtually buying blind so all info helps in UK I live in Brighton so I’m used to having everything at hand I understand this is more of a sort of village with some mountains around am wondering if it’s to isolated out there

I believe that the bus service on camposol is a dual and ride but you need to provide 24 hours notice
