Do your research first, have a look at  expat in mazarron on you tube, he gives you the best insight to camposol, drives around the different areas , if you watch all his vids, you will know the roads to beaches etc,  before you come over .just a normal down to earth guy that tries to help.

Welcome, my wife and I are also seeking a future in Spain.  I have been looking into the area for a while and this forum combined with the Shaun Matthews vids on You Tube are a great help.  Check out the link at the top of the page (Jim's Guides)  really useful and do as much research as possible on buying abroad, tax, banking etc.

You may note that when you check out a property remotely via Google Maps and Google Earth and look at street maps you will find that the actual street map is 10 years older than the satellite view :)

Have a look at mercers webpage,lots of info , they do 3 day  viewing trips, you pay for flight, transfers, you stay at the la chambre in the port,they book this and pay it , so you can look around the beaches ,port as well as villas in camposol.obv when this is all over, 

Choose to view in country club. Bolneuvo,camposol ,so you get a feel for different areas , 

If you want to stay longer than 3 days as flights may not match up , then you can arrange a weeks holiday , then theres a woman called mauve ,who will let out her villa, for the other 4days , contact luz de sol . Keep this for reference , as at some stage you will want to visit

Welcome... I agree with the other post but! The fly in the ointment!!

 Merceres dont pay for you're flight and stay unless you buy from them then and only then they will refund you. Dawn who works at Mercers also have a fantastic villa on sector A....we used it whilst we were looking around the area... we did buy on Camposol that was too years ago. Also try Another World Properties (online) they also do rentals....its a small family run Estate Agent ....Vinny does the sales ans Sue his wife runs the rental side...good solid down to earth people and from Manchester.  Mick at Luz de Sol....is also a great guy...there is Villa Quest on here and  and others... google Estate Agents on Camposol...they should all come up. 

We love it on here we took almost 2years to find this our forever home...we did lots of online research and came here to holiday several times... if you need any other advice please send me a private message through this site and I will gladly help where I can....just be careful of the scarmongers you will geton here....do your research keep a level head...you do get a lot of house for your money on Camposol.....and its predominantly Englidh....just depends on your budget and where you need /want to be....attached is a picture of our pool area....can send more private if you wish...

Not quite  true. They do pay for your accom, the hotel in  the port, richard does the airport transers for reduced fee , compared  to sparkle fees ,  then they pick you up at hotel. I never said they pay for flights, but will re imburse you if you buy through them. As very unlikely people will  buy in 3day visit 

Remember other agents sell the same property so its in there interests ,you buy from them .

Hi, best thing you will ever do.

Camposol has shone through out this crisis, community helping each other, young shopping for the elderly, community checking on each other, no food shortage, and even our police force praising the residents.

Of course you always get a few who will abuse the rules, as per the female at the back of Calle Arboleas who openly went shopping in the port, and bragged about it, sad, as it affects us all.

My advice is rent first, research the whole of Camposol, then decide, but you will never get a better place.

Old info of flooding, villas falling down etc, ignore, just look at the Mar Menor, you would not want to have gone through that as sadly our friends did, everything ruined, but gladly now selling to come to Camposol.

When you do decide, ensure all that you purchase on the property has the correct documentation, in particular extensions, pools, and underbuilds converted into living space.

Any documentation issued in Spanish, have it translated, especially if it was issued by a builder.
