Thank you very much. We fell in love with D on our 1st day and offered the full asking price to the owner the next. Purchase went through swiftly. We have only stayed for a weekend so far but are over in April for nearly 3 weeks and looking forward to meeting new friends. We are planning to take ...

...early retirement in 2021 when we are both 56 so we can really enjoy our new life in this beautiful part of the world xx

Hello from us Teresa & Alan who are yet to make the move but planning to spend half our time in Campasol. Like yourselves we have taken early retirement at 55 and hoping we find a good community spirit along With a good location. We intend spending time there in March 2021 and having a good look around. Regards Teresa & Alan

Hi 👋

We are in the process of buying in sector D and have paid the deposit

We are also looking to retire or semi retire and will be living there full time hopefully within 8 weeks

We are also looking forward to making many new friends and enjoying a more relaxed life

Cheers

Andy

We bought D, 8 years ago as a holiday home. We wanted the peace and quiet that the largest sector offers and have never regretted the decision.

You will need a car to get to the commercial centres on A and B as well as to travel to the coast but for us, that was always a necessity anyway.

Great place with great neighbours and have never regretted the purchase

Thank you very much, are you fully retired?

we are looking to semi retire out there, I would like to work but I know the rules have changed as the UK is no longer in the EU, as a registered Staff nurse would love to continue

When we first bought the property we were both full time employed and wanted funds to make any changes we wanted.

I had to take 2 weeks mandatory holiday but using bank Holidays we were able to visit 5 times a year. We are now both fully retired and have had a 12 week break or 2 break of about 6 or 7 weeks to comply with the 90 day rule once we left the EU. Either way, just to get a decent longer break than the standard fortnight holiday once a year suited us perfectly

Hi New Neighbours,

Does anyone know approximately how much a basic survey would cost, before we sign on the dotted line. sector D.

Many Thanks

We drove into the MCC but did not like the idea that all properties were the same, our understanding is that you cannot put your own mark on your property and the lack of amenities

That being said it would be great if xamposol looked as well kept but inevitable I guess as so much smaller

BTW there is also a garage on Camposol as well

The houses are smaller on MCC and more expensive.
