We don’t have central heating, but used electric heaters last winter. It would appear, however, from your response, that you are not a very pleasant or polite person.
I am completely honest though.

So am I and I don’t insult people for having an opinion!
I can't comment on living in Camposol - the original question.
However, on the cost of living, you should probably expect to spend the same as you would do in the UK for the same standard of living - with the added bonus of free sun!
IBI is the equivalent of council tax and this is generally cheaper than the UK. You will probably be £100pm better off from this.
Food prices are similar, alcohol is cheaper. Petrol / diesel are a little cheaper; car insurance and road tax - similar to UK. House insurance - similar.
Phone, broadband, satellite / internet tv - all similar to the UK.
Standard UK costs for gas & electricity are £100-£120 per month. You are unlikely to have gas, but electricity is slightly more expensive in Spain. You won't need heating as much as you would in the UK, but you will still need it in winter - say, November-February. Hence why many properties have wood-burners. Air-con can be expensive to run and if you have a pool, then you need to factor in the electricity to run the pool pump (and a lot more if your pool is heated).
As you're below retirement age, you need private health insurance for the first year, after that you could buy in to the Spanish system. Depending on the provider and your own personal circumstances, this will probably be around £120 per month for the two of you.
So if you offset your savings on council tax with the extra cost of health insurance, you can probably live to the same standard as you do in the UK for the same overall costs.
Hope this helps!
The Place in the Sun shows are less than complimentary to Camposol and do not show it very well, imo
The expat videos are more honest and reliable and provide a far greater in depth insight into Camposol and the surrounding areas
We have a holiday home but totally agree with FF and you can feel the weight and stress just slip off your shoulders once you arrive
Assuming that you have no issues with a predominantly ex pat community then I think you will love it here

Please let me know where you’d find health insurance for 120 a month? You need one suitable for residencia which needs to be completed before end of the year or correct me if I’m wrong will cost a fortune once U.K. leaves EU. We are 49 and 59 and pay nearly 200 a month for health insurance. If moving to live you need to look at requirements for residencia as I obviously don’t know your circumstances. I would say 1000/1200 a month you can live comf

We are thinking of moving to spain and have seen snippets of camposol on the tv show 'a place in the sun'.
Can you please tell me what you would recommend about camposol as a 'forever' new place to live, the pro's and cons??
We are in our early 50's - looking to find a less stressful way of life.
Many thanks,
Dawn
Hi,
We moved from Lancashire to Los Alcázares on a permanent basis in December 2019. It’s now been 7 months and even with the total lockdown no regrets. Life is a lot more relaxing here. Just get your head round your not on holiday and you will find your rhythm.
We are not residents and do not intend to be. We expect to continue to use our villa as a holiday home for as long as the rules allow, understanding they could change after Brexit
However, based on the above, we still believe we will only require normal travel insurance and that full health cover is only required for residents only
Are we correct in this logic...?

I’m not an expert but as far as I understand as long as you are staying under the schengen rules ie 90 days in 180 then it would just be travel insurance you needed. Citizens advice Spain website has a wealth of information which may help also “Jim’s advice’ on here is very good

Hello Dawn,
Try Shaun on you Tube "EXPAT IN MAZARRON" you can get a really ground level ( and very high level :-) perspective of life on Camposol.
We bought in sector C last April 2019, and love it , the community spirit is very refreshing to behold.
Come on own Y`all , and see for yourself .
Best
