Hello

Can anyone advise me about import Tax now the U.K. is no longer part of the EU?

I have some bits and bobs of soft furnishings and a large German style beach chair that I would like to bring over to our place on Camposol. I have used Lloyds removals in the past and was very satisfied.

However I now need to weigh up whether or not bringing these few bits and bobs is financially viable. If I am going to be slammed with enormous import Tax I want to know in advance and before I book Lloyds again.

Can anyone help?

Cheers

Flo

we have just moved in 4 weeks ago, we are moving a lot of small items plus a number of small kitchen equipment etc and not had any issues nor costs relating to import taxes etc, i am sure that if you can get it in your car or on a plane you have nothing to worry about

Sadly not. I will need to pay to transport my things. The beach chair is very large.

But this is not a new item and not treated like a car so should be free of import taxes
