Currently living in Fuerteventura but could be looking to move to the mainland when things become more 'normal'. Obviously this could be in a year when sales improve as we have to sell either our place in the U K or here in Fuerte. So we would like as much info re. security, weather, community and part time job prospects for my wife who is currently a cook in a well established restaurant in Caleta de Fuste. Thanks in anticipation Neil and Sharon

As no-one else has replied, I will as a non resident but holiday there 4 or 5 times a year (but not this one unfortunately, missing it like mad though)  We have owned on Camposol for over 11 years, never had any real problems (just with a builder, but that's another story).  The Costa Calida is the Sunshine state of Spain, extremely good for the health.  Mazarron which is 20mins away by car, has 7plus Blue Flag beaches loads of bars and restaurants along its gorgeous sea front, two beautiful harbours and plenty other things to see and do.  Camposol is warm and friendly, again has plenty of bars and restaurants along with a golf course and club house which often has live entertainment.  I could really go on and on, but you need to do your own research on the internet, there is nothing you can't find out.  Hope this helps a little but please do not hesitate to pm me if you have any specific questions.

Thanks Anita all info is warmly welcome! We could be delaying our move until  2021 of the uncertainty around at the moment. Certainly the Estate Agent foretold doom and gloom at least until our tourist industry resumes. Tourism accounts for approx 85% of the islands income but who knows things could improve quickly!

Thanks again
