Hi, wondering if there are many young children living on Camposol and if anyone can give any advice on things to do and if there is still a kids club. Can anyone recommend schools in the area and where the majority of kids on Camposol go. My daughter is thinking of relocating with her 8 year old next year but wants to hear other mum's experiences.

Look through some historic posts on here as the question has been asked and argued over time and again.

Or just ask frequent flyer 👍🏽

Thank you, I found the positive and negative feedback from past posts on young adults wanting a better life for their families. I am a positive person and believe Camposol benefits from having different generations living in the community. Intergeneration is important for all ages, the young and old learn a lot of different skills from each another. I think it's time to bridge the generation gap and inspire all the negative Nelly's from wanting Camposol solely for retirement use, then the urbanization might also have facilities for young adults and children.

We are in our late 40s and still frowned on by the oldies here who think it's a retirement village and still ask what we are doing here! Camposol next generation bring it on!

Camposol is as good as anywhere else in Spain..to bring up kids provided you have the income to support your self and your family..one of the main reasons you don't see that many that many expat kids on Camposol or anywhere else in Spain ...can be put down to lack of job opportunities ...so if you don't need a job and have plenty of money to support your family then give it a go ...if you don't have money to support your family then think long and hard ... good luck.

I have kids/grandchildren of my own and we have kids living in our road in Camposol who you wouldn’t know are there.  As a retiree who came here for a quiet life I find too many younger parents these days seem to let their kids run riot and scream all day long. This is possibly why us oldies want a ‘retirement village ‘ and why we come here. If I were young again there are plenty of other places I would choose first in which to bring up children. Just saying.

Unless you plan to spend your life driving them to other places. Camposol is not a great place to bring up kids!

I concur with cat47 it is more retirement village in the sun than young families Mecca.

This is not negative! Merely factual !

I loved your comment,  we have a holiday home hear and have 12 year old twins,  we have noticed people don't really speak to us and have already established its because we're younger and have kids, we were always told what a friendly place it is and has a great community spirit.....but the reality for us is very different.  We love our villa and our kids are very well behaved and we ain't going anywhere.

Well said Lindsey, I have listened to a couple of loud mouthed adults since I arrived on Camposol. Once all adults have a little respect for others there is no problem but unfortunately it does not work like that.
