I think you need to give more clues as to what you need help with.  Are you moving to Camposol permanently or just looking for a holiday home?  Will you have a car or need to be within walking distance of amenities? Take a really good look around before you buy as its a big purchase and not one to be taken lightly.  Good hunting.

Thank you AnitaR for replying. Yes itll be a permanent home, we have 3 sm spaniels and a car, we have heard so much negativity online re Camposol re houses not built right, floods, theres nothing anyone can do about theweather,Lets face it,UK not much better, Homes not having deeds so they cant sell and go anywhere else etc, Thats rather alarming, We are visiting next Tues thru Sat and hope to look round with Lyndsey at Mercers and anyone else, the more we see  the better, If I may ask what do you find thats not up to standard, or the down side of living on Camposol, Weve heard a bit of chat dont buy on sector CorD??any comment you can make will help, Id rather know now than later on after we     buy, Id like your opinion or advice, thank you for taking the time to reply to me much appreciated, Kassie

If you wish to be nearer the shops,Bars etc A & B are in easy walking distances over on D you will need some form of transport.

Thank you for replying to me, and your comments have laid to rest  some of the questions  living on D section  may bring up,  especially the walking, I tend to walk alot, and some folks there have said you need a car??? thanks  Kassie1

We are only holiday makers but have owned there for 9 years and I go as often (every other month usually) as I can - I love it.  We are now selling our little Fiesta on C2 and hoping to get a bigger Rebecca, on any sector with open views or wide road as I like the feeling of space.  As I say, have a good look around and avoid places where the land looks dodgy (not smooth).  Don't get way laid by bad press, you know how the Brits like some bad news to talk about, the good and excellent parts of living there don't get a mention because 'that's not what sells papers' and they far outweigh the not so good stuff.  Happy hunting.

Must admit it still surprises me to to see so much negativity surrounding Camposol when it is such a lovely place and only a veryt small percentage of people have actually suffered problems

We live on D and find it very quiet but you do need a car to get to A and B for the amenities but that only takes 8 minutes or so. The golf club is on C and is really nice for a meal or a quiet drink with a lovely vista

B is lovely and lively with many good bars and restaurants with plenty of live entertainment during the peak seasons. Much warmer area than we envisaged so feel that a pool is a necessity. Beaches are only 15-20 minutes drive away as is the port
