Hi,

We are thinking about moving to Camposol.  We have a teenage daughter and I am wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any childrens clubs or activities on a regular basis that she could join please?

My mother in law would also be moving with us and she is retired. Does anyone know if there is much provided for pensioners and where she could go and make friends please? She currently spends most days at bingo and is worried she would have nothing to do.

Any general advice about moving from the UK would be great too.

Many thanks

In reading your post ...it sounds like you have never been to Camposol... maybe you should consider a 2 week holiday to see what you think of the place... Camposol is not for everyone 99% of the full time residents are of pensionable age ...so your mother in-law will certainly be ok ...your teenage daughter might have problems making friends on the estate as you don't see that many kids around/legal Jobs that pay your insurance stamp are none insistent/so you will need to have expensive private health care ..I am assuming your mother in-law is of pensionable age so she will go on the Spanish NHS your daughter Will also be ok for NHS care .. provided you and your family are approved as residents... good luck anyway.

Hi, very hard for a teenager living here. No work, no prospects even if you speak good Spanish. Our daughter hated it and we returned to the UK. Your mother in law would be ok on the Spanish health system but it is a requirement of getting residencia that you obtain private healthcare yourselves. Good luck!
