We have been to see villas on sector d a bit worried about damaged road but all looked very nice. Is it friendly are people friendly to new people? Is it easy to get out and about can you reach the beach on a cycle.Seen a lot of conflicting things about life there so what is it really like? We hope to come out to stay in march to look at more homes and have a good look round.

You could cycle to the beach if you are a very keen and fit cyclist. Its a long way, it takes me about 25 minutes in the car and thats booting it all the way on the motorway, you would not want to try it in the summer, far too hot. Just take the car, you will need one if you come to live in anything other than a major city.

Thank you, would not like to ride on the motorways if that is the only way to the beach We were told it was only 15 mins away so yes a car would be better.

We bought on D 2 years ago and found everyone more than friendly. Personally, I would say that you need a car but for me it is only 15 minutes to get to the coast down the motorway. No idea if cyclists are allowed on the motorways or not but the motorways over here are nothing like what we experience at home but would think it would take a good 30-45 minutes assuming you are fit...!!

From D sector it takes me at least 8 minutes just to get off Camposol. To get to the beach and park will take you 25 minutes from home, longer in the summer when there is heavy traffic and no you cant cycle on motorways.

I guess it depends on which beach? I use the motorway for Bolnuevo or to head into the port and use any one of the small coves along that road and I can be there (without pushing it) in about 15 minutes and we are only there in the Summer

Cycling into Mazarron or to the Beach is not a problem, you will see that there are service roads alongside the Motorway and these will take you onto good side roads with very little traffic, I drove around in the car first to get familiar with the area and then started riding my road bike.
