Just be aware. We have just recently purchased a house on D29 and we are over here setting it up. At 4am this morning we were awoken by an intruder on our front patio
Sector D has had several burglaries the last 2 months. Looking at all the pictures circulating social media I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same duo/trio who are responsable for all of them. I sincerely hope somebody catches them one of these days and crushes their kneecaps with a baseball bat.

Can you report it to the police please if not already done so.
Attempted break in early hours the other day D12. 2 men dressed in black. Climbed the high villa wall. Same day break in D32 money mobiles keys and hire car stolen.
Yes will do. Do you know if the others had hire cars as we do. There is a OK Mobility sticker in the car window. Possibly why we were targertr

Yes the car stolen on D32 was a hire car. We have a WhatsApp security group for our roads in our area. Message me if you would like to join

When I hired cars many years ago one of the first things I always did was to removed the car hire company sticker from the back window.

Obviously a good idea to do this. However last time I did this I noticed going through the car hire agreement the car hire company could penalise you for this. I had already thrown the sticker away. Fortunately I spoke to the staff when I dropped the car off and told them the sticker was missing when I picked the car up and nothing more was said.
Car hire companies do seem to get a lot of stick on here, often justifiably but I’ve never really had a problem with them.

Let's hope these horrible people finally get caught.
Rather than waiting for the useless local government to provide camposol with a police presence, why don't we chip in for a security company to patrol sector D and others if needed.
Otherwise I can see posts about this, still going out in 2 years time.
I'm up for paying a security company, anyone else.

This has already been looked into many times. There were meetings with a security company last year. Hardly anyone turned up. Alot of owners won't pay.

For some people it's just a lot easier to complain and let somebody else solve the problem. People seem to have enough money to buy a holiday home, they have enough money to go out and have dinner & drinks. But then they don't have the money to look after their property and their safety. Go figure.......completely backwards if you ask me.
