Hi there

Could anyone please help me out? I'm looking for a nice property on Camposol to buy to holiday in for the next few years, then live in.

I have found Lot's of conflicting posts about the area, I'm confused.

I've seen a nice looking Rebecca villa, on calle Alhendin. 3 beds looks fine, what is the street like, and is it prone to subsidence or flooding? And, what sector is this Calle in?

Thanks Andy.

Hie

Can someone supply me with the electic switch company which advertises in the monthly chronicle on camposol.  Think is maybe called green switch?  came back to home without the email address.  I want to change supplier due to the fact we are with Ibedrola and they take off  charges for home insurance protection and payment protection plus - E8 per month.  I repeatedly email them to request they cancel as not needed (the a/c was set up by our lawyer)  but they just ignore this.

Also we have bank with Caixa es.  They just took off E31 each per annum for our card, plus E7 each every 3 months for servicing.  Hubby asked them about it, was told due to us not being permanent residence, the bank charges us more for a current account. Amounts to E115 per annum to have a account with them, seems excessive.   Anyone any advice on this.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. So you know that property? I think that it looks really nice but as I posted before, it is a worry when you don't know the Calle. Is the area OK? And are the properties lived in by permanent residents or mostly holiday let's? And are there lots for sale?

Sorry for all the questions, but we really want to come over, but are trying to gather info from the people that actually live there.

Thanks again. Andy

Hi Andy

Sorry can't answer as its not in our road although I can confirm we have no issues. I dont know the property. I will take a walk down later and take a look. If you can message me a link to the property so I know which one I'm looking for

There maybe other forum members that live in that road.

Edit - I have walked down and there are 2 Rebecca's for sale by mercers. The road is quite wide but very steep however both properties are at the top of the road. The one nearest the top had glazed front terrace

It is a nice quiet street. Some .lovely people live there ( not me). Even nicer people live in the surrounding roads ( me).

Hi Andy, if you could send me a link to the property or the reference and estate agent I think it’s one we might have looked at last moth while we were there looking ourselves. If it’s the one I’m thinking it is. It was lovely we just didn’t want a three bed but the estate agent took us to see it as it was within our budget.

Hi

Thanks, my wife has just tried to pick up details of the property, to send a picture but it has been removed from the site ! Maybe sold?  I will try and pick it up on another site.

However, your help is appreciated. I will continue looking.

Thanks Andy
