Does anyone know if there is a proper art supply shop in Port Mazarron or near Camposol at all. I know the Chinese places sell some stuff, but they have a limited supply of large canvases and brand name paint etc. Thanks in advance

Paint shops here tend to carry art supplies. There is also a well stocked craft shop in Alhama, near Dia, which has just about everything .

I think that's the one I visited last year, but it was out of business.

Will try there thanks. Lydia - thanks too. Have bought some stuff there, but like the Chinese shops, they don’t do larger canvases. I may have to resort to buying a large picture I don’t like and painting over it 🤣🤣

That's a good idea. I don't do very big canvases, so I find what I need there :-)

There is a wonderful art shop in CARTAGENA. They have everything. If you walk past Mercadona in the Plaza España and take the first left it is immediately on your left. I think it’s called MIGUEL .. Good luck!

Exactly. My earlier idea of buying a picture to paint over and use as a blank canvas would be quite expensive I suspect, as anything of any size is usually over €40 anyway. Mind you, having not found any around here yet, I don’t know the cost involved. Out of interest, have either of you been to any of the Art Groups before the dreaded lurgy shut them down?
