Carp?

As far as I can work out there is very little fishing in the south of Spain. Most seems to be up north. River Ebron has big carp and cats and I think I saw something on the telly about fishing near Benidorm.

I was told that the black fish in the marina in the port were carp?

Carp are a freshwater species. The fish swimming around the marina are from the  Wrass family I think, being salt water. Lovely to watch them though eating the bread people throw to them.

I was told there’s a lake near the golf course on camposol that has carp and you can buy day tickets from the golf club. 

Have to look into that

I just got a fishing licence for freshwater and seawater, you need two if you want to do both!

Freshwater requires Civil Liability Insurance which is sometimes included in your house insurance, i found that out after I paid 45 euro for specific insurance.

Look at any reserviors near you. You may be OK to fish in those, I go to Torremendo but it is a fair lick from where you are going to be.

Local Gestoria will do your fishing license. You may need photo id too, I did for sea but not for fresh!!!!!
