...r house had been broken into. Everything was out of drawers. Didn't take the lap top or camera. Jewelry and money was taken. The burglers had made sure all window blinds were down and curtains pulled across so they could put lights on. It's the mess they make and the insurance claim together with police report that's another thing we are dealing with at the moment. They pulled the grill completely off the back bedroom window to gain access. People tell us we have got off lightly!!!! We only moved to camposol 4 months ago but have lived in other areas of Spain for 20 years and never been burgled before. I've uploaded a couple of pics of how they got into the villa and damage to a pergular. They moved a patio table to the wall and climbed on it over the neighbours back wall to get away. Just thought I'd share this with everyone. Lynn

I know it’s a bit late now but for the future you can get really small cctv cameras really good value and very clear pictures, I hope this won’t put you off Camposol there are bad people wherever you go,I wish you better luck for the future, take care

That is so sad, there are some truly awful people around.  We have installed an alarm system and cameras, its a sad old world out there.

Thank you for your recommendation. We had actually been thinking of putting in an alarm system with camera but never got anyone willing to come round. Too late after it's happened. Just getting over insurance claim and police report now. Assessor coming on Tuesday.

Just wish they would be caught. You work hard in your life to be able to retire and live in a nice house and then move to camposol and this happens. They must surely be looking out and targeting when people are not there. We can only do so much for security.

The reason you were broken into is because your rejias are only mounted with rawlplugs, the mounting points should have a T bar welded across the ends & be cemented into the wall.
