We are having a problem with our car and are looking for a mechanic in Camposol or the surrounding area. Thanks in anticipation.

Try tapping the starter motor while someone turns the ignition key.that should start it.failing that the dog gear is stuck solid Tae it off the bell housing. (2 bolts) and disconnect the electric cables.(disconnect battery first) free the dog drive gear put oil on the shaft.connect electric from battery and test the action  of the dog.if that don't work then the slinoid need to be replaced.wish I was there to help you.im in UK.

Yes, I am a retired mechanic but at 72 years am no longer able to crawl around under a car, it's an hour's work on a ramp.

Ok.if you can see the starter from under the bonnet try a long pole or shaft and give the starter a good tap.while someone turns the ignition key.often that method works to free the dog drive.

The dog is free. The solenoid is at fault ,a sealed unit and past the tapping stage. A new starter is the only option.
