Hi you will need to apply for a non lucrative Visa from the Consulate in the UK, its a lot harder now than before brexit the cost for this Visa is about £550,there are also a lot of other things you need to provide to them when you apply, unless you have a million in the bank then you could get a golden visa. There is a lot of information on Gov.uk website.

Hope this helps :)

I am in the middle of purchasing a new build and was all set to come out in March but with all the changes I'm not sure when I will be able to get my residencia as there is so much we need to provide. We will still be moving over but unsure when it will be.

Unfortunately you are not alone. You now need to prove you will not be a drain on Spanish society. You will need to prove you have an income of over €2k per month. More if you are a couple, and have money in the bank. Not impossible, just not easy any more.

Well, do you know any Europeans who could adopt you??? I know it isn't funny, and I sympathise, other problems would be trying to get a job, or drive a car etc etc. Bloody Brexit. Bloody Boris.
