Just like you, we moved to Murcia from (in our case) Málaga, so needed to update the address. At the same time we opted for permanent right of residency to try and minimise any problems following the stupidity of the Brexit vote.

We also moved here from the Malaga area; but we just managed to get our residencia before we left.

We just need to get the addresses updated now.

According to PALS solicitors, I don't need to change my address on my NIE following my move from another part of Spain.

I tried to change my address with a couple of shop Socio accounts and they would not accept anything other than the address on my “NIE”, which is in fact my Certificate of registration as a foreigner, so to ease problems I changed it. It is a bit like not changing to a Spanish driving licence from a UK one, just saves worrying about whether the UK one is still valid, and makes sure you get the compulsory medical needed for either.

We were told you couldn't change the address you had to go through the process again, did you do it yourself and which off t did you go to 

Because of the ridiculous delays in the system we got Gloria Quintana (who was doing our tax returns) to make the appointment and download the forms for us. We went to the National Police station in Cartagena and were in and out within 15 minutes.

The pricess is easy, but I strongly suspect that some gestors pre-book appointments so their clients can jump the queue......clogging up the system.
