Hi Jan.

Did you go to Mazarron town hall?

We have been twice with no problem ,

We took a ticket from the machine and waited for our number to be called. On the ticket it says Padron we took passport, house deeds NIE the guy who dealt with us spoke English. So we were lucky good luck with your next visit.

If you live in Murcia area you can. IE.

Camposol, Mazarron, Puerto de Mazarron etc.

It's  usually a very quick process . No hassle.

Hi we went to the town hall In Mazarrón. The staff were all very helpful, it was really busy, but it only took about 15 mins in total to complete. We took NIE no’s, Passports & our Deeds to our property, if renting take your rental agreement. A copy only cost two euros, if you are applying for your Residency, each person requires a copy of the Padron certificate. The process was very efficient in the town hall, the gentleman who dealt with us spoke English. Make sure you take a ticket at the machine when you first arrive & press the correct no for the Padron, if you are stuck, the staff will assist you. All the best.

We need to make an appointment over the phone so that we can go to the town hall to renew our Padron but I have tried three times and they just hung up after a few minutes as my Spanish is limited. I can manage a face to face conversation just about! Any suggestions?

Hi Michael99

Please read the post’s above, at Mazarrón Town Hall, no appointment necessary, a translator for the Padron is really not necessary. They were very helpful. Give it a whirl. We have been twice too, no problem.
