Thanks for your input  , we understand there's a "dad's army " doing patrols in the sectors and that a company was previously trying to set up , we too have experience from door staff to personal protection . Obviously the last company gave up to easily , we are currently looking for office ...

...space and are in the process of having leaflets made to hand out to residents .

I think the term “ dads army” is a little bit derogatory to all the people who give up their time FOR FREE to try & protect their neighbourhood. Many of them have law enforcement & security backgrounds themselves.

To be fair it was not Probuild70 that originally labelled them 'dads army'

Not being derogatory at all and sorry if it sounded that way , it is in the fact the name I've been given by other residents , they are doing an ok job but it's not deterring anyone , we are looking at having 16 employees working 24/7

I didn’t say it was - I just said it’s a bit derogatory meaning for anyone to say it 😊

Quick question for you , have they actually caught anybody committing any of the various crimes on the camposol?

I’m not sure anything will deter the culprits tbh. Yes you’re right some of the crime is being committed by people that live in the community & some is by groups that come onto Camposol from elsewhere in vehicles & plan which areas/properties to hit. If there was full street lighting everywhere it would help but that is another ongoing saga. I wish you well with your enterprise as it can’t hurt & if it really was done properly which it sounds like it will be you could make a real difference 😊

Not that I’m aware of but it’s really not for the want of trying & there’s no guarantee you would either. Camposol covers a large area & there are many places to hide & with no Police presence very little street lighting etc it’s a sitting duck.

Exactly why we are considering starting up there , to us it's pretty obvious it's people from camposol , as for instance I see a washing clothes horse stolen , people don't drive 15 k to steal a washing line worth 15 Euros !! We need the people of camposol to be fully behind us as we want to engage with everyone .we are also in talks with a friendly Guardia officer who is putting in forward that we work with them

No they don’t but that’s such petty crime that would be unpunished anyway. The security groups have also been in regulartouch with the Police & held a community meeting here on Camposol with one of the top brass. They also know all the likely culprits for the petty opportunist type stuff but proving it is another matter. As I say good luck I hope you achieve what you set out to 😊

Hello group not posting a business but seeing what sort of response this will get :

Notice that camposol is in dire need of some sort of security and am considering starting a security firm on camposol , nightly checks on vunerable properties , on site office for fast response to Intruders , 24/7 contact with clients home or away ....

...

Again this is not a tout for work but just to guage interest , we are thinking of standard drive by nightly checks from €2 up to full proper checks to around €10 per week .

Please feel free to message me directly and please comment on this post so we can see the reaction .

Thank you

We are just in the process of buying a property and it sounds like a decent idea, especially if it is effective and affordable.

Paul & Sandra
