Hello group not posting a business but seeing what sort of response this will get :

Notice that camposol is in dire need of some sort of security and am considering starting a security firm on camposol , nightly checks on vunerable properties , on site office for fast response to Intruders , 24/7 contact with clients home or away ....

...

Again this is not a tout for work but just to guage interest , we are thinking of standard drive by nightly checks from €2 up to full proper checks to around €10 per week .

Please feel free to message me directly and please comment on this post so we can see the reaction .

Thank you

We are just in the process of buying a property and it sounds like a decent idea, especially if it is effective and affordable.

Not being derogatory at all and sorry if it sounded that way , it is in the fact the name I've been given by other residents , they are doing an ok job but it's not deterring anyone , we are looking at having 16 employees working 24/7

@Probuild70

You say you are going to employ 16 employees & provide 27/7 security !!

With an office & vehicles & fully registered & legal !!

I can tell you without any doubt at all that you are NOT going to fund this from Camposol never ever.

Pie in the sky I am afraid....................

Well I for one would back such a venture. I agree, there is a strong presence of volunteers doing an amazing job, but they can't be watching everywhere. You can constantly read on various web-sites about one sector or another being "quiet tonight" at whatever time, ( Rooftop watchers), and still burglaries happen. But how many of us actually stay up all night or do drive-by's at 2,3,or 4 in the morning...... This member has an idea and I think we as a community should give him all the support he needs. I don't understand the negativity toward the idea. As I was always told by my old dad, "if you don't give it a go, you'll never know". We are constantly being asked to support various things on Camposol, surely if someone wants to offer US help in the form of a good security measure, then why not support this. A DETERRENT is better than offering comforting support after the fact, I would have thought. Go for it Probuild70 👍.

Is there a reason you are being awkward ? At the minute it is pie in the sky , we are looking at interest in starting a team on there not about being lucrative but protecting residents and there properties

Thank you for the positive feed back we seem to think it's a good way forward , why should people have to keep there eyes open we all certainly to Spain to get away from this . Just a shame some residents don't see it this way , either that or they are involved in the crimes or to bone idle

Hi Guys, It seems that the origional poster has had a bit of flack from my "dads army" quote, i mentioned this as this is the general unofficial name for the group in the bars in the area. I appreciate that these guys are giving up their free time to try to keep the area safe and it is appreciated but it has been said, these guys are retired police officers, retired army personnel,  retired security guards. Isn't this retired status what gave the origional home guard their "dads army" nickname in the 1940s??

Careful now...........

I am neither 'involved in the crimes' or 'bone idle' & I take offence at your suggestion that I am.

Other residents on Camposol will be offended as well.

You didn't answer the awkward question . We are trying to do good , your negativity has been noted by residents also . I've seen how bad it is on camposol , petty theives , burglers , drug dealers , flashers, it's all allowed to carry on , don't you personally think it's time someone done something about it ? Don't you think people are taking the Micky because there's no detterent ?

If everyone had the same attitude that nothing works the world would be a very sad place
