Went there a few weeks ago and it wasn't blocked off - the fence posts were still there but the chain link fencing had been taken down. There is no beach bar there now.

There were several reports on Murcia Today but I don't know how up to date they are.

The situation is a great shame for the area as it is a superb safe beach for kids.

Went there recently and the car park/beach was open, but you had to pay at the entrance to get in. Apparently the Council have told the owner to put it back to free entrance, but I have a feeling that argument will go on and on.

I was by this beach on Sunday. -  Didn't look to be any restrictions in place. except for a very small area with wooden

stakes preventing access. Plenty of parking on the road a few yards from the main beach and plenty of families

complete with the kitchen sink enjoying themselves -  Also big Chiringuito open, -  but we didn't stop as we were bound

for the restaurants  further along at Calnegre.
