We have rented a property in Camposol for 3 months. We are retiring here. We have found a property that we love on sector A. We have paid deposit on it.
would love some info on what there is to do in Camposol. Which are the good bars with entertainment. What are good local areas to visit etc. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

TIA 👍🇬🇧

Hi

Lots of bars and restaurants on A and B have entertainment whether it be bands, singers, quizzes, sports on TV, pool, darts etc. Golf club has entertainment some evenings.

Lots of places to visit nearby. We like the town for the saturday market which has nice tapas bars, port for swimming, strolling eating and sunday market. Aquilas is worth a visit and has a big market. Los balcones for a meal and using their pool. Hotel mariposa for their menu del dia or an overnight stay. Totana is nearby and lorca bot h worth visiting. Isla plana by the port and is great for snorkelling.

There are lots of social clubs on camposol but at the moment many are not meeting up due to the restrictions.

Murcia City is less than an hour drive away. Look on Google maps you will find lots within an hours drive.

In normal times there is lots going on in and around Camposol.

All the bars & eateries have their own character. You would be best served to determine your own favourites.

During the summer there has been free musical entertainment at the Camposol Sector B business ctr. Rock bands & singers mostly.

Many places to eat in and around Camposol.
Bol Nuevo and Puerto De Mazarron is a short drive away. Beaches , promenade bars & restaurants, a Marina and even a Diving Centre. Lots of Tapas or 'Menus Del Dia' to be had.
There's a Golf course in Camposol, if that's your bag.

There are many festivals throughout the year in towns in the area. They can be great Fun. My personal favourite is the Romans V Barbarians in Cartagena. Late September/October.

If you are into volunteering, there are many groups in and around the area that you might like to get involved with.
This one is close to my heart.

You can drive to Cartagena in under an hour or Murcia but when we go to Murcia we take the train from Totana. The train on the other direction can take you to Lorca. Lots of great street markets - we like Albana de Murcia and Totana but the Sunday market in the Port is very good and very busy.  You won’t be bored in this area.
