Would anyone know why the current water bill received today for the period August / September is so much greater than previous

Check the amount of water you have been billed for and compare it with a previous bill. If there is a leak somewhere you should get it looked into immediately or your bills will keep being high.
You should be able to compare all the standing charges to previous bills to see what has gone up if anything.
I think the waste part of the water bill could have been deferred due to Covid.
Maybe it's a catch up bill ??

Just had our bill and it includes charges for basura (rubbish collection) which has been excluded from previous couple I've checked.
Yes same with mine.
Oddly enough the DD went out of my bank account & 1 day later I received the bill by email.

It appears rubbish bill has been caught up with, and charged this time as it was not on the last 2 bills.
However, its hard to understand, and you could be stitched without knowing it.
There system of bills is manic, to say the least, and hard to keep up with.
It can be complicated and worrying to people.

I cannot see it covers September, only reading for July and August?
Thats what it states at the top of the bill under ( FACTURACION JULIO - AGOSTO 2020 )
Does not say September.
My Aqualia bill is for July & August.
Basura charge is back on the bill but only one charge as before lockdown.
No 'catch up' billing.

Hi we have catch up bill charged, 2x charges.
So will check next bill to see they do not charge again, but next bill will not be until end of October roughly.
