I know maybe an odd question but are beds usually same size as uk std double and singles? Eg do fitted sheets usually fit if bought in UK?

No, if you buy Spanish beds your UK size sheets will NOT fit correctly.

Most of mine fit fine😆.... I find yourkshire linen on the expensive side but good quality and we have bought other items from there though.... xx
A 130x190 cm mattress is equal to a standard British double. We have bought 2 since we have been here, they seem to be a popular size.
Not sure about other mattress sizes though.

I have Marks & Spencers double and single fitted sheets on our Spanish beds and they fit fine.
