Hi, anyone know where we can buy new kitchen doors and draw fronts please. We have an original Masa fitted kitchen in dark wood, looking to replace with something lighter. Did think of just painting them but will always annoy me knowing they are brown underneath. Cannot find any in either Ikea or Leroy merlin that are the correct sizes. If all else fails a new kitchen l suppose. Thanks.

Be very careful about using so-called professional Painters, Builders or Electricians on Camposol, make sure that they come with a number of recommendations not just one (the mistake that we made), and never, ever pay any money up front (another mistake we made) so far we have had our expensive pants pulled down twice, don't expect it will be the last time though.

On a plus point we have also met and used excellent friendly Contractors that have boosted our opinions once again, so just be very careful, especially if you are retired or on a budget, these rogues have no scruples and will try and drain you of every last penny.

I can highly recommend Raul at Marafor in El Peraton - he actually makes doors to fit your kitchen cupboards. We had him replace our complete kitchen and he has made a wonderful job - he came highly recommended by others who have used him. In actual fact the very expensive German kitchen man located at back of Euronics uses him too.  If you drive through the main road in El Peraton look out for a bar set slightly off road to your left and just to the side look out for a red sign saying Marafor that is where you will find him.

Thanks one and all for help and comments. Fairly handy  with a brush and roller so will give repainting a try myself🤞. See how durable the finish is and maybe start saving for an Ikea kitchen, rest of house is 99% from them already 😁

The key thing with jobs like this is preparation.

You can buy doors only from Leroy Merlin and Ikea.

The prep is the bit I find tedious, but as you both say it is essential. It's the time that costs for the professional, at least I don't have to pay myself.

As for buying doors from Ikea and Leroy merlin, have looked and their sizes match to no more than 20% of our current doors, if they had of matched the job would be done by now 🙁. Looks like the Masa fitted units were either a custom size, or maybe over 15/20 years the industry "standard" has changed.

Go to Raul in El Peraton who makes them especially to fit and stop bleeping on about IKEA who are absolutely rubbish - I wouldn't even buy a bin from there.
