Hi all

Does anyone know someone who can replace a water boiler (this huge white thing) to an continuous-flow water heater - see picture?

Thank you in advance.

Get in touch with Mark at C & M Construction on Sector A.

Office is next to the Ferreteria.

Edit

Are you sure your idea is feasible ??

An electric storage water heater will draw around a 1- 2 kw.

A continuous flow electric water heater will draw at least double this.

Is you electricity supply big enough for this load ?

It will say on your electricity bill what your 'potencia' is.

Could be 3.3 kw or 5 kw.

Hi Steffi

happy New Year to you

any electric heater is expensive to run plus takes up space, a gas boiler will give you the continuous hot water you need and as the bottles are subsidized this is the cheapest way to enjoy hot water plus as they are run on batteries in most cases if you get a power cut you can still have hot water, you could go for a solar hot water system but again you only get what is in the tank and if you need to go to back up electric you will be paying a lot for the pleasure, plus the install is the most expensive and space consuming of the 3 options

also as Roland very correctly points out your Potencia will in all likelihood not be able to cope with the demand and you will be forever blowing the trip switch or you will have to pay to have your Potencia upped to be able to cope which will also up your monthly bill for both electric and service charge

hope this helps
